Sig Sauer P365 IWB Holster | BASE IWB

Short review is…this is my favorite holster. If you want the longer review, keep reading. I bought a dozen or so different 365 holsters. I didn’t love any of them. My brother-in-law is more knowledgeable than I am regarding guns. I asked him what ccw pistol holster he used and he said CYA supply company. Turns out this is my favorite of all the different holsters I tried. It has been 2 or 3 years now, and I’m still using the same holster. Just a little FYI…one of the best pieces of advice I’ve heard regarding IWB ccw… “Having a chunk of metal in your waistband will always be more uncomfortable than not carrying a chunk of metal in your waistband.” If you pick the right holster, IWB will only be a little uncomfortable and this you can get used to over time.

This CYA IWB holster is the best I've had. It's noticeable that a lot of thought went into designing this holster. The audible and tactile "click" confirms retention and the retention locks in the front of the trigger guard. The retention is adjustable by tightening/loosening one screw; other holsters require using 2+ screws. Another great feature is the sweat guard is full-length and you can use your thumb to hold your holster in place (since it's full-length) while you draw your pistol. Most other holsters' sweat guards are not cut to the guns silhouette and are about 1 short, which doesn't leave you room to use your thumb to push against the sweat guard as you draw. As for comfortability, I forget I'm even carrying. The holster's footprint is extremely minimal and thin, allowing for more concealability. I also like that it uses one clip that's centered on the holster as other holsters use two clips on either ends of the holster (I usually use one clip so removing a clip means the holsters retention is no longer centered and gun just swivels instead of coming out.) that's not a problem with this holster! A definite must-buy!
